Attention local residents and businesses, it has come to our attention that there are changes occurring with the old 10-digit phone numbers that pre-date the current 911 system that alarm monitoring companies (fire, medical and security/police) use to call Montgomery County 911 to report alarm activations at your residential or business properties.  It is critical that you contact your alarm company and confirm what number they are using to contact Montgomery County 911.  Attached is a letter from the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety explaining these changes.

Countywide 10-digit Number for Police: 610-635-4300 

Countywide 10-digit Number for Fire: 610-635-4455  

Countywide 10-digit Number for EMS: 610-635-4466
